VAN DRIVER

PART-TIME/ON DEMAND POSITION

Van Driver needed for Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities. Take to doctor visits, physical therapy, dialysis, etc.  Fill in for regular drivers/ over booked days, etc.  We are looking for those with a caring heart for our clientele, who’d like a flexible work arrangement to earn extra income.

Service areas include Floyd, Clark, Harrison and Scott counties. We typically work Monday through Friday; early morning through afternoon. We will work with you on where you’d like to drive and what hours of the day.  You will need a good driving record and obtain Public Passenger Chauffeur License (written only, not a driving test).  Also, pass a physical and drug/alcohol screen.  All training will be provided.  Hourly wage commensurate with experience.

NUTRITION COORDINATOR/DRIVER at BACALA SENIOR CENTER in SCOTTSBURG, IN

Manage the Title IIIC Elderly Nutrition Program, to organize Health and Wellness programming for the meal site at the Center and to provide transportation to and from the meal site for attendees.   Successful candidate shall possess the following:  detail-oriented, highly dependable, sensitive to needs of the elderly, work well with people of all ages, outgoing with high energy level. Possess or willing to accrue a Public Passenger Chauffeur’s Drivers License (written test only), high school graduate or higher, and some computer skills (email, fax, MS Word, etc). Background in health education, social services, physical/recreational therapy or similar experience helpful.  Lifting up to 25 lbs and standing. Valid chauffeur’s drivers license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and background check.

Hours: 25 hrs per week. Mon-Fri. 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
