LifeSpan Resources is proud to be providing an enhanced level of information and assistance/referral to the community through our ADRC for Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Scott counties in Indiana. As such, we are the single entry point for all publicly funded aging and disability services.
AVAILABLE SERVICES
An ADRC is designed to be a highly visible and trusted place where people can turn for information on a full range of long-term support options. The philosophy behind Indiana’s ADRC’s is to empower older adults and persons with physical disabilities to have greater control over their lives by improving their ability to make informed choices.
The functions of an ADRC can be of benefit to the elderly, those who are physically disabled, family caregivers, advocates and professionals. You might be wondering what type of information an ADRC can provide. We have OPTIONS counseling available to provide information on a variety of topics, including alternatives to nursing facility placement. The OPTIONS Counselor can also assist with information and referral to in-home services, benefits counseling, program applications and more!
We are here to assist you with matters as simple as a request for the name and address of a human services agency or with options to complex caregiver situations. Give us a call today and we will empower you with the knowledge needed to make informed choices.
ADRC Database Inclusion Exclusion Policy
The LifeSpan Resources’ Database Inclusion-Exclusion Policy assures that the database includes complete, accurate and up-to-date information available for OPTIONS Counselors and the callers they serve. Required by the accreditation standards of the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS), the policy is uniformly and fairly applied so that ADRC staff and the public are aware of the scope and limitations of the database.
