Dementia Friends is a global movement changing people’s perception of dementia. Through a one-hour session, participants gain a better understanding of dementia and support actions that will have a significant difference.

Caregiver Support/Trualta

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Being a caregiver for someone with dementia can be exhausting – physically, emotionally, and financially. Our Caregiver Support programs provide services, education, and respite options so caregivers can thrive too.

Trualta

Trualta provides online training and education for family caregivers. Its platform offers evidene-based, easy-to-understand lessons designed to help people who are caring for loved ones with health challenges, such as dementia, chronic diseases, mobility issues, or developmental disabilities

We offer information, funding assessments and referrals to options for in-home supports, such as:  Personal Care, Respite Care, Home-Delivered Meals, Transportation, Emergency Response Buttons, Home Modifications and more.

Dementia Outreach Specialist Program

Dementia Education & Awareness

This program offers community presentations and training on dementia-related topics, promotes public awareness, and reduces stigma through outreach events.

Our dementia outreach specialists’ partner with community organizations, city official, faith communities, health care professionals and local advocates to assess community readiness, provide tools for inclusivity and identify gaps in dementia resources.
