LifeSpan Resources FREE Diabetes Education Program

Your Blood Sugar Has a Story. Unlock the Knowledge to Understand It.

Your A1C only tells part of the story. Learn how your blood sugar responds to everyday life and habits, and discover what those patterns can teach you about your health.

The LifeSpan Resources Diabetes Education Program consists of a structured 4-week workshop, which includes 2-hour weekly group sessions, followed up by three one-hour private follow up sessions with a certified Community Health Worker (CHW). It is designed to educate and enable individuals to manage pre-diabetes, Type 1, Type 2 or Gestational Diabetes diagnoses.

Christy Nash, PharmD

The program is led by Christy Nash, PharmD, a highly respected pharmacist and diabetes educator with more than 20 years’ experience helping individuals achieve better health outcomes through education, coaching, and personalized support.

The program allows participants to see how food, activity, sleep and stress affect blood sugar levels, as well as learn practical strategies for everyday life and build confidence in managing your health. It also includes easy-to-understand education and practical tools that you can use right away.

Each participant will receive a temporary continuous glucose monitor to explore blood sugar patterns, as well as free lab work to use as a baseline for goals and improvements over time.

New sessions are held monthly and begin the first Wednesday of each month. For more information on upcoming sessions and locations, please contact LifeSpan Resources at 812-948-8330.
